How/why did you start your channel?
I started watching a lot of hair and makeup videos in about 2013–2014, and eventually I figured if these people can do it then so can I! I’ve always liked anything related to acting, so filming and editing my own videos makes me feel like I’m one step closer to that.
What is your favorite thing about being a YouTuber?
My favorite part about being a Youtuber would definitely have to be my subscribers. I love helping them whether it’s teaching beginners how to do makeup, or giving advice. Most people are so supportive and it’s really encouraging to keep following my dream.
You film so many different videos. What is your favorite type of video to film?
My favorite video to film would definitely have to be my story times because I’m able to show my personality a lot more, as opposed to makeup tutorials where I just do voice overs or play music while people watch.
What is your biggest YouTube pet peeve?
That would definitely be the people that are making channels just to receive free stuff! Youtube was so much more original and genuine a few years ago.
What are your top five favorite makeup brands?
What products do you use to keep your hair healthy?
What is your biggest YouTube dream?
My biggest Youtube dream is to reach at least 100,000 subscribers. I would love to reach the point where I get invited to places like Beautycon and other Youtube events in New York and LA. I don’t think I would ever make Youtube my full-time job because I am still pursuing my degree in Clinical Psychology to fall back on, but I hope that one day Youtube will open the door for me to pursue my true dream of becoming a full-time actress.
What has having a YouTube channel taught you about yourself?
Having a Youtube channel has definitely taught me that is okay to be different. When I first started out, I was very nervous and shy to tell people about my channel because at the time a lot of people weren’t familiar with the Youtube world. I wouldn’t even post anything about my channel on social media because I was too afraid of what people would think. Now I am way more confident in myself and I honestly feel that sky is the limit for me. I no longer limit myself because I know that if I stay consistent, pray, and stay positive, nothing will ever stop me from being successful.
